Refund Policy

1. Digital Service Nature
Realtime Verify provides digital email verification services as an intangible good. Due to the immediate nature of our service delivery and resource consumption, we have specific refund policies that differ from physical products.
Once email verification services are performed, the resources (server capacity, API calls, computational power) are consumed and cannot be recovered.
2. Credit-Based Purchases
No Refunds for Used Credits: Credits that have been purchased and partially or fully used are non-refundable. This includes credits used for:
- Email verification jobs that have been processed
- API calls that have been completed
- Verification results that have been delivered
- Any service that has consumed server resources
3. Subscription Services
Monthly Subscriptions: Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance for the upcoming billing period. Refunds for unused portions of the current billing cycle are not provided.
Annual Subscriptions: Annual subscriptions may be eligible for pro-rata refunds for unused months if cancelled within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, no refunds are available for annual subscriptions.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will prevent future charges, but you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
4. Service Performance Issues
Service Downtime: If our service experiences significant downtime (exceeding 24 consecutive hours), you may be eligible for credit extensions or partial refunds for the affected period.
Verification Accuracy: We do not provide refunds based on verification results that don't meet expectations. Email verification is provided on an "as is" basis, and results depend on factors beyond our control including:
- Email server configurations and responses
- Network connectivity and latency
- Recipient email provider policies
- Temporary server issues or maintenance
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate verification results but cannot guarantee 100% accuracy due to the complex nature of email systems.
5. Fraudulent Purchases
If we determine that a purchase was made fraudulently or through unauthorized means, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend or terminate the associated account
- Disable access to all services and features
- Withhold refunds for fraudulent purchases
- Report the incident to relevant authorities
Legitimate account holders who experience unauthorized purchases should contact us immediately for investigation and potential resolution.
6. Refund Process
To request a refund, you must:
- Contact our support team within the eligible timeframe
- Provide your account information and purchase details
- Explain the reason for your refund request
- Provide any relevant evidence or documentation
Processing Time: Refund requests are typically processed within 5-7 business days. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within 10-14 business days, depending on your financial institution.
Communication: We will communicate with you regarding your refund request through the email address associated with your account.
7. Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, make exceptions to this refund policy in cases of:
- Technical errors on our part that prevent service delivery
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Service outages exceeding our Service Level Agreement
- Special circumstances warranting consideration
Any exceptions made are at our sole discretion and do not set precedent for future requests.
8. Account Termination
If your account is terminated for violation of our Terms of Service, including but not limited to:
- Abuse of our service or API
- Violation of email marketing laws
- Fraudulent activity
- Harassment or abuse of our support team
No refunds will be provided for remaining credits or unused subscription periods.
9. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will become effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of our service after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
